Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliations of in-house bank accounts and applications to the general ledger.
- Research and resolve a variety of problem transactions, ensuring all accounts are in balance.
- Maintain documentation as required by Sarbanes-Oxley to support and back up reconcilements and proofs.
- Timely reconciliation and clear differences to comply with bank policies.
- Post journal entry sheets to the general ledger and process miscellaneous debit and credit tickets daily.
- Complete some month-end accounting processes, including account balancing and reconciliation, fixed asset depreciation, accruals, and prepaid expense amortization.
- Prepare one-off account schedules and other ad-hoc assignments as needed.
- Prior banking experience
- 2-5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
