Land of Mañana Counseling is currently looking for a non-independently licensed (LMHC) clinician to join our team.
We provide competitive pay and additional admin pay for note completion.
We provide a healthcare stipend, CEU reimbursement, reimbursement for license and testing fees
Clinician is expected to see clients both in person and online
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with teens
Supervision is provided.
Job Summary
The Mental Health Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities. This position involves working closely with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, providing compassionate care, and assisting in therapeutic activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of trauma informed care.
Duties
- Provide individual mental health therapy sessions using evidence based practices.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Document patient progress and interactions accurately, utilizing medical terminology and DSM codes as necessary.
- Complete note documentation within 24 hours of session.
- Provide trauma-informed care to individuals.
- Maintain professionalism and provide quality care to each client.
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly supervision (dependent on caseload)
Skills
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles.
- Experience working with various populations in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and counseling team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards in all interactions.
- Organizational skills to ensure completion of tasks such as treatment plans and weekly notes.
We utilize simple practice as our EHR system, experience with this system would be beneficial however we will provide training as necessary.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 or more clients per week
