This position is with Munson Lakes Nutrition (MLN), a joint venture with Land O’Lakes (LOL). The selected candidate will be employed by MLN and will not be an employee of Land O’Lakes.
This role is based onsite in Howard Lake, MN, five days per week, with standard working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Do
- Work with key partners on reconciling daily, weekly, and monthly processes, grain accounting activities, and AP accuracy
- Evaluate, analyze, and resolve product costing to provide accurate reporting.
- Evaluate and correct general ledger activity and balances to ensure accurate gross margin reporting.
- Analyze and explain COGS variances month over month
- Execute month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2 years’ experience in accounting
- Proficient with ERP accounting applications (Oakland and FMS preferred) and Microsoft products. Advanced excel required.
- A solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Strong analytical instincts and the ability to draw insights from variances and trends.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment.
- Confidence navigating financial systems, improving processes, and contributing to project initiatives.
- A proven ability to build trusted relationships across functions.
