Role Overview
As a Job Captain, you will support the production and coordination of project deliverables from concept through construction. This role focuses on developing accurate drawing sets, executing redlines, and supporting project teams to keep work moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction documents, including layout, hardscape, and planting plans
- Implement redlines and maintain drawing accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate with internal team members and assist with consultant coordination
- Support project schedules and assist in tracking progress
- Follow company CAD and documentation standards
- Assist with entitlement and permit submittals
- Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs and submittals
- Participate in site visits and field coordination as needed
- Contribute to concept graphics and presentation materials as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
- 2-3 years of professional experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, and Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of construction documentation and detailing
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Clear communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
Location Requirement
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Orange County, CA. Candidates should be located in the Orange County region or able to reliably commute daily.
