Responsibilities
- Assist arborists with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper arborist rigging techniques and equipment such as chainsaws and chippers.
- Support rigging operations for large or hazardous tree sections to ensure safe dismantling and removal. This skill can be taught to you.
- Conduct plant pruning care and general tree trimming to promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn clean up, planting, and general site cleanup to support overall site health
- Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition, ensuring readiness for daily operations
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience or a desire to move into this type of position
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols
- Excellent communicator
- Experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is advantageous
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
