Title: QA Technician Inspector

Location: San Leandro, CA 94577

Duration: 03 Months Contract

Pay rate: $25.00

Shift: 1st Shift 6am 2:30pm

Monday through Friday. Candidate needs to be open to overtime and weekend work when needed.

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, working process, and finished products.

·       Perform visual inspections and quality testing using established procedures.

·       Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to GMPs policies and procedures

·       Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.

·       Identify and report nonconforming materials, products, or processes.

·       Assist with root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.

·       Place products on hold when quality concerns are identified and support disposition decisions.

·       Conduct line checks, weight verification, label verification, code date inspections, and packaging audits.

·       Verify employee compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.

·       Escalate quality and food safety issues to leadership as appropriate.

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

·       13 years of experience in a QA, QC, food manufacturing, or production environment preferred.

·       Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and quality systems.

·       Ability to perform visual inspections, product evaluations, and routing quality records.

·       Ability to enforce and verify compliance with food safety, quality and employee hygiene standards.

·       Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize and escalate quality or food safety concerns in a timely manner.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·       Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspections throughout the production area for extended periods.

·       Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
