Duration:                    03 Month Contract to hire

Pay Range:                  $17.00- $18.00/hr. On W2

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift:     Monday - Friday, 6a-2:10p (20 min paid lunch) optional OT on weekends. Will shift to 5 (8s) Mon-Fri must have flexibility.
• 2nd shift,    Monday-Friday, 5p-5:30a optional OT on weekends.
• 3rd shift,     10p-6:10a
• Alternative Work Schedule (AWS) - 2nd shift, Friday-Sunday, 6p-6:30a

POSITION OVERVIEW:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or standard work instructions.
• Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
• Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
• Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change.
• Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.
• High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety.
• Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.
• Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department.
• Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed
• Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
• Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
• One-year experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Solid mechanical background required
