Senior NiFi Technical SME (Java & Airflow)

Location: Raleigh, NC / Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6 Months

Experience Requested: 7–10 Years

Required Skills:

• Strong NiFi expertise with deep understanding of NiFi architecture, processors, controllers, and data flow management.

• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, and relevant scripting languages.

• Strong database and SQL knowledge, including data manipulation techniques.

• Experience with big data technologies such as Kafka.

• Expertise in designing and implementing NiFi data flow solutions.

• Hands-on experience with data ingestion from files, APIs, and databases.

• Ability to configure routing, enrichment, and transformation of data.

• Experience maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting NiFi clusters.

• Strong experience developing and integrating microservices.

• Deep knowledge of Airflow architecture (schedulers, executors, plugin development).

• Ability to design and develop complex, modular, reusable Airflow DAGs.

• Experience optimizing Airflow performance and orchestration.

• Experience integrating Airflow with cloud services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Storage.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for Airflow deployments using tools like Azure DevOps.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for data flows, NiFi configurations, and integration issues.
