Senior Mechanical Engineer – Liquid Cooling / Thermal Systems

Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Calabasas CA 91302

Duration: 12 Months

Pay: $100 - $110 per hour

Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM PST

Note: Remote workers will be required to visit Calabasas, CA office; length and frequency to be determined

Duties:

• Develop state-of-the-art IP test products
• Design mechanical and thermal system solutions, includes sourcing off-the-shelf parts
• Simulate and design thermal solutions
• Work with suppliers to resolve DFM/DFA concerns
• Validate designs, obtain quotes, build and test prototypes

Skills: 

• Experienced with direct-to-chip liquid cooled system design and implementation, including cold plate design, manifold design and sourcing off-the-shelf components.
• Proven track record in product development from concept including detail design and design validation
• Strong design skills, analytical problem solving and attention to detail
• Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems & thermal management solutions including liquid cooling
• Knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, plastic and extrusion fabrication methods
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SolidWorks; familiar with ANSI drafting standards
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work in small teams required
• Knowledge of networking/data center equipment
• Experience with SolidWorks Flow Simulation a plus

Education:

• BS degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering with 6 years relevant experience required
