We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to support enterprise IT modernization initiatives by leading quality assurance and test automation efforts for cloud-based Salesforce solutions. This role will focus on building scalable automation frameworks, validating complex integrations, and ensuring high-quality Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Public Sector solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce QA Automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern test automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Framework Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable Salesforce automation frameworks.
- Build automated test scripts for Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Screen Flows.
- Automate end-to-end business process testing across Salesforce applications.
- Develop automated API tests for REST and SOAP integrations.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria with business and technical teams.
- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, and release testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.
- Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues quickly.
- Manage Salesforce sandbox environments and test data strategies.
Salesforce Quality & Security
- Validate Salesforce security configurations including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Field-Level Security.
- Support Salesforce seasonal release testing and impact analysis.
- Ensure application quality, reliability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
DevOps & Continuous Testing
- Integrate automated testing into DevOps pipelines.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
- Maintain automation scripts and improve overall test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- 2–3 years of Salesforce QA Automation experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities.
- Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom Salesforce applications.
- Experience with Apex fundamentals, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce administration concepts.
- Strong programming experience using one or more of:
- Java
- JavaScript
- Python
- C#
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with REST and SOAP API testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
