Title- Payroll Tax Analyst
Pay Range:- $30.00- $45.65
Job Description:
- Utilize ADP Client for tax filings and reconciliations.
- Perform payroll general ledger account reconciliation.
- Create and run necessary reports from respective payroll systems to reconcile payroll taxes and general ledger accounts.
- Run reports out of Workday HRIS to ensure employee tax set-ups are correct.
- Utilize vendors' tax account application systems and, in some cases, set up accounts directly with the respective agency.
- Ensure all applied-for accounts are updated with the correct tax ID.
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations.
- Ensure amendments are filed timely.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure general ledger accounts reconcile.
- Set-up and maintain organized tax files for each jurisdiction.
- Process, track, and ensure proper resolution of all payroll tax notices received.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to communicate with internal customers and with vendors to ensure proper resolution of issues.
- Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Other duties and tasks as needed.
Reports to Payroll and Benefits Manager.
