Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems and hardware products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth, hands on design experience, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating cross functionally with manufacturing, quality, firmware, and systems teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems, including schematics, PCB layout guidance, Flex PCBA layout, and component selection
• Own end to end hardware development, from concept and requirements definition through prototype, validation, and production release
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and debugging for analog, digital, and mixed signal designs
• Define and execute electrical validation and compliance testing (EMI/EMC, safety, reliability, environmental)
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure system level integration
• Support manufacturing bring up, yield improvement, and root cause analysis of field and production issues
• Review and approve engineering documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test plans, and design reviews
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (UL, CE, FCC, SEMI, etc.)
• Interface with suppliers and external partners for component qualification and technical reviews
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8 years of experience in electrical or electronics engineering
• Strong experience with analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Allegro, OrCAD, Cadence)
• Hands on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers)
• Solid understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, grounding, and noise mitigation
• Experience supporting product development in a regulated or manufacturing environment
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial systems, or high reliability hardware
• Knowledge of wafer handling systems
• Familiarity with firmware/software interaction and hardware software integration
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT)
• Prior experience leading projects or acting as a technical lead
