Licensed Clinician – Outpatient Behavioral Health
Location: Roxboro, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 annually
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinician to join an outpatient behavioral health team in Roxboro, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health and substance use treatment services using evidence-based, person-centered approaches while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy based on individualized treatment plans.
- Complete clinical assessments, intakes, and ongoing evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and update Person-Centered Treatment Plans.
- Facilitate psychoeducational, life skills, and relapse prevention groups.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Coordinate care with families, community agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in an on-call crisis rotation as required.
- Educate clients on recovery strategies, community resources, and available support services.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and organizational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations, licensing standards, and organizational policies.
- Attend required trainings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina license in one of the following:
- LCSW or LCSW-A
- LCMHC or LCMHC-A
- LCAS or LCAS-A
- LMFT or LMFT-A
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience providing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health or substance use treatment.
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and compliance requirements.
- Crisis intervention experience.
- Experience facilitating individual, family, and group counseling.
