Since 2006, Securing Resources for Consumers Inc. has been dedicated to empowering individuals throughout the Durham area. We provide consistent, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses across a variety of settings, including family homes, group homes, and community environments.


As the needs of those we serve continue to evolve, we remain committed to meeting new challenges with compassion, professionalism, and excellence in care. We are currently seeking a Licensed Professional to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality, individualized services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans; coordinate and implement therapeutic services
  • Provide individual and group counseling across the lifespan using evidence-based practices
  • Deliver psychoeducation on mental health, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and behavioral health topics
  • Monitor client progress using objective and subjective measures; maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Implement effective therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs
  • Apply crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with clinical, educational, and community partners to ensure coordinated care and appropriate referrals
  • Develop discharge plans and support continuity of care
  • Participate in trainings, supervision, and team meetings
  • Ensure all documentation meets agency, state, and accreditation standards
  • Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and legal regulations
  • Provide services using a trauma-informed, respectful, and client-centered approach
  • Deliver direct, face-to-face services in office, home, or community-based settings
  • Work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team while managing deadlines effectively


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral or mental health discipline from an accredited institution
  • Active North Carolina licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist); provisional licenses considered
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • Trauma certification preferred
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating mental health and/or substance use disorders in children and/or adults
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR and evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and community partners
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required
