Automotive Service Advisor – Lancaster Nissan
Lancaster Nissan is looking to add an Automotive Service Advisor to our team.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to effectively coordinate service repairs between customers and technicians. Previous automotive service experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates who have a strong customer-service background and are motivated to learn.

Compensation
$500 weekly base salary commission
Training Guarantee
- First 60 days: Minimum guarantee of $1,000 per week
- Days 61–90: Minimum guarantee of $750 per week
- After 90 days: Standard $500 weekly base commission
If your calculated commission earnings exceed the guaranteed amount during the training period, you will receive the higher amount.
Strong-performing advisors have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings through our commission structure.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers for scheduled appointments, walk-ins, drop-offs, and wait appointments
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them on repair orders
- Communicate customer concerns and repair needs clearly to service technicians
- Review technician recommendations with customers and obtain authorization before repairs are performed
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Prepare and maintain all required repair-order documentation from write-up through final billing
- Answer incoming service calls and schedule appointments
- Work with warranty companies to obtain repair pre-authorization when necessary
- Coordinate with the Parts Department regarding special-order parts
- Review and close completed repair orders
- Carry over open repair orders and review completed vehicles awaiting customer pickup before leaving each day
- Provide a high level of customer service throughout the entire service experience
Schedule
Service Advisors rotate between the following Monday–Friday shifts:
6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
1-hour lunch
6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
1-hour lunch

Qualifications
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with technicians and other dealership departments
- Organized and able to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously
- Comfortable discussing recommended repairs and obtaining customer authorization
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
