Lead Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and restoration techniques, with the ability to lead projects effectively while ensuring high-quality workmanship. This role requires hands-on experience in carpentry, construction site management, and a comprehensive understanding of building processes. The Lead will oversee project execution, coordinate with team members, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to prepare accurate project budgets and timelines.
• Perform trim and frame carpentry, including cabinet installation and door hanging.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Execute concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed.
• Oversee the installation of fixtures, siding, roofing, and flooring.
• Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts when required.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on restoration projects.
• Strong skills in carpentry, including woodworking, metal stud framing, and tile laying.
• Familiarity with various construction techniques such as caulking, stucco application, plumbing, electrical work, and heavy lifting.
• Ability to fabricate components as needed for specific projects using CNC machinery or assembly techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
