1. Ensure all patients enjoy a positive experience, and are treated with the care and compassion expected.
2. Ensure all patient records and related documents are managed and maintained timely, accurately, and consistent with all HIPAA and related regulations and requirements.
3. Ensure that the proper dental billing and codes are used for proper billing.
4. Ensure all tasks provided and associated with patient care, patient administrative processes, and related duties comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as clinic policies and procedures.
5. Develop favorable relationships with all patients.
6. Establish favorable working relationships with all staff members associated with clinic operations, dental hygienists, dentists, and related staff.

Job Requirements and skills:
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Candidate must be a high school graduate.
Experience with dentistry for at least 1 year and knowledge of Dentrix Enterprise.
- Scheduling, checking in and checking out patients for all specialties here at LCPC.
- Entering patient Demographics and insurance information into the computer.
- Answering the phone to assist patients and our staff with questions and concerns.
- Submitting electronic claims for patient’s treatment.
- Confirming appointments and using Lighthouse.
- Pulling and filing of TEAM charts.
- Entering payments for patient’s treatment.
- POSITION REQUIRMENTS
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF DENTAL CLINICAL AND FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE.
- MUST BE PROFICENT WITH DENTRIX ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE.
- Education ·
- High school diploma or equivalent. ·
- Current CPR certification. ·
- Must have at least 3 years as a Dental Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator·
- Must have at least 2-3 years of dental clinical experience with patient care.
- Must be proficenty with Dentrix Enterprise software.
- Ability to work with multiple disciplines in medicine.
- Demonstrated success with clear thinking and ability to reorganize as needed. ·
- Demonstrated success in working independently, prioritization and problem solving. ·
- Demonstrated success in organization abilities. ·
- Demonstrated success in computer skills including ability to use computer for scheduling, word documents and reasonable keyboard skills. ·
- Demonstrated success in customer service/patient services or working with the general public, preferably in a medical or dental care facility·
- Demonstrated success in managing difficult customer situations · Knowledge of dental practices and procedures. ·
- Demonstrated success and experience with direct patient services.
- Criminal Background Check must be clean history
- Child Abuse must be clean history
- FBI Fingerprinting must be clean history
- Bilingual is a plus.
