About Us

Lna'i Community Health Center (LCHC), located on the island of Lna'i, is deeply rooted in a unique history of transitions and cultural diversity. LCHC serves the entire population of Lna'i, with a special emphasis on those living at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and the underinsured or uninsured. The center provides services in a culturally sensitive manner, offering translation services when needed, and ensures that no one is denied care due to an inability to pay.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, LCHC accepts all insurances, helping patients navigate their coverage. LCHC is dedicated to improving the physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual welfare of the community, working towards the vision of innovative healthcare with a culturally sensitive, holistic, and patient-centered approach. Role Overview

In this integral role, the Front Desk Representative will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Lanai Community Health Center. As a Front Desk Representative, you will execute front desk activities with precision, adhering to established policies and procedures. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing health center operations at the front desk, efficiently managing patient telephone calls, and cultivating positive relationships with patients, external organizations, and colleagues. This position is crucial in fostering a welcoming and organized environment within the health center.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in front desk or administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in using office software and handling basic clerical tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with healthcare processes and terminology is a plus.
