The Manager, Content and Social Media (Organic/Earned) at Lamps Plus is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of our organic social content strategy. This role leads social-first brand storytelling and content development across all Lamps Plus social channels, ensuring a cohesive, engaging presence that supports brand awareness, customer engagement, and broader business goals.
This position will oversee high-visibility social media channels and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and e-commerce partners to integrate social media into the overall brand and content strategy. This role is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.
- Own and maintain the organic/earned social media content calendar, ensuring timely, accurate, and on-brand publishing
- Write engaging, on-brand social captions aligned with campaign goals and platform best practices
- Tag products accurately within social posts and coordinate with e-commerce partners to support shoppable content initiatives
- Schedule all organic social posts using social media management tools
- Plan and develop organic social media campaigns aligned with brand and business objectives
- Create compelling social content briefs and collaborate with creative partners to bring content to life
- Publish and manage content across all Lamps Plus social media platforms
- Engage with customers and followers across social channels in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Analyze audience behavior and performance based on historical social media activity
- Define and track KPIs and OKRs for organic social content
- Monitor campaign performance and analyze results to inform optimization and future strategy
- Use social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Tint, or similar platforms
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics related to social media performance
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand partners to expand reach and engagement
- Communicate insights, performance updates, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including senior leadership and creative partners
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience managing an organic social media presence for a consumer-facing or lifestyle brand, preferably within retail or home décor
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and their impact on brand engagement and growth
- Proven experience producing successful social content, including video, from concept through execution
- Excellent creative writing, grammar, and copy development skills for social media
- Experience identifying and managing influencer or brand partnership opportunities to support KPIs
- Demonstrated creative sensibility across copywriting, video, photography, and visual storytelling
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready summaries
Salary Range: $85k-100k
