Accounts Payable

Overview

Lamp Rynearson is a civil engineering, survey, planning, and consulting firm with a solid reputation for its recognized clients, projects, and people, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of part-time Accountants Payable person in its Omaha office.

As an integral member of our fun and amazing accounting group you’ll be responsible for organizing, coding, and entering invoices into accounting system. Specific duties include, but are not limited to those listed below. This position is part-time Mon-Fri (flexible hours).

Qualifications include… • Two years’ accounts payable experience• High school diploma required: AS/BS in accounting or related field preferred• Strong computer skills including Excel and familiarity with accounting software(s)• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus• Possess general business knowledge• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to coordinate tasks and work within deadlines• Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities include… • Process accounts payable invoices• Obtain approvals from multiple sources• Correct vendor addresses, as needed• Assist with contract organization and management• Enter corporate credit card expenses• Prepare and file Sales & Use tax return.• Print and mail weekly accounts payable checks• Serve as back up for expenses payments review• Part-time in office attendance is required• All other duties as assigned including administrative support, as needed
