POSITION OVERVIEW
Bianchi Candle Brands LLC is a growing candle manufacturing company in Omaha, Nebraska. As our business scales, we are adding an AR/AP Coordinator to manage the day-to-day financial transactions that keep our operation running accurately and on time.
The AR/AP Coordinator will own both sides of our transactional finance function — processing vendor invoices, managing customer billing and collections, and ensuring our books reflect accurate, up-to-date financial activity. This is a detail-oriented role that requires someone who is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working with numbers and people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner — match to purchase orders and receipts
- Manage vendor payment schedule and ensure payments are made on time
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized AP records and documentation
- Communicate with vendors on invoice questions, payment status, and remittance
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due accounts
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate AR records
- Communicate with customers on billing questions and payment status
- Prepare AR aging reports and flag collection issues to leadership
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform regular reconciliations of AP and AR ledgers
- Support month-end close processes — prepare supporting schedules and documentation
- Assist with financial reporting as directed
- Maintain accurate records in our accounting system
General Finance Support
- Support the development and documentation of finance SOPs
- Assist with expense reporting and employee reimbursements
- Partner with leadership on ad hoc financial requests and projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 1 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP software
- Reliable, organized, and discreet — able to handle confidential financial information
Preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks, Cin7, or a comparable accounting/ERP platform
- Background in manufacturing, CPG, or product-based business environments
- Associates degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business
- Experience supporting month-end close processes
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
- Hourly rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time or Part time options Monday through Friday — standard business hours
- On-site at our Omaha, NE facility
- Eligible for benefits after introductory period
