Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
• Current PMHNP licensure in the state of Vermont.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PMHNP.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   
• Passion for providing compassionate and effective mental health care.
