What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oasis House Staff position at LAMOILLE COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES MASTER?

Residential Support Staff working at the Oasis House will use clinical skills to provide crisis de-escalation and increase clients’ coping with stress in the moment. As a member of the residential staff, the incumbent works to establish and maintain a respectful and dignified atmosphere for psychiatrically-disabled residents. Work includes both housekeeping duties and providing safety and support to residents. Residential staff will build relationships with residents and use clinical skills to engage clients in activities and self-regulation as appropriate and will communicate clinically relevant observations to supervisors and treatment team members. Residential staff will comply with regulations for documenting services and clinical information, including incident reports, in a timely fashion. Residential staff will engage in ongoing training to develop clinical skills.

Education/Experience
Requirements: 2 years of experience in Mental Health or related field
Preferences: Bachelor's in a related field
License/Certifications
Required: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle with current registration, state inspection, and appropriate insurance.
