Chemical Production Operator

Lamberti USA, Inc.is currently seeking an experienced Chemical Production Operator for processing and packaging to join our team. The ideal candidate must be safety -conscious, highly motivated, and a dependable self-starter.
Job Location: Conroe, TX

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control chemical levels, temperature, pressure and flow rates utilizing meters and gauges to verify with standard operating procedures and record readings
• Operate equipment such as pumps, hoses, valves to transfer chemicals to totes, containers, and barrels for packaging
• Move chemicals safely throughout the day utilizing a forklift and/or manual handling
• Fabricate and package chemical products following established protocols
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Use Company provided safety training to understand hazardous safety labels, procedures and requirements including, PPE, safe work permits, energy control isolation, confined space entry work, hot work, etc.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes

Qualifications:

• Must have prior chemical handling experience
• Strong knowledge of materials handling and chemical processing techniques
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment for testing and analysis
• Knowledge/understanding of instrumentation, rotating equipment, blender and piping systems a plus
• Must pass drug/background/physical screening

Physical Demands

· Be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.

· Long hours standing, frequent bending, stooping and kneeling

· Work at outside temperatures while wearing required PPE consisting of a full chemical suit, face respirator, hard hat, safety glasses and steel toe shoes.
