Executive Assistant to Founder of AI Start-up

A fast-growing, post–Series B AI startup in San Francisco is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the Founder and collaborate with key team members across the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and can operate with speed, ownership, and minimal direction.

You will be managing priorities, driving execution, and ensuring the Founder and team are operating at maximum efficiency. This is not a hand-held position; we’re looking for someone proactive, resourceful, and relentlessly organized.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, or operations role within a startup or high-growth environment

• Proven ability to support a founder or senior executive with minimal oversight

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• High level of discretion and sound judgment

• Experience managing complex calendars, travel, and competing priorities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools and systems

Responsibilities

• Manage the Founder’s calendar, inbox, and daily priorities

• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-ups, ensuring clear action items and accountability

• Plan and manage domestic and international travel

• Support company events, leadership meetings, and offsites

• Track key initiatives and ensure timely execution across teams

• Handle ad hoc projects and requests for the Founder and leadership team

• Act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders

• Assist with communication, documentation, and meeting prep

• Ensure nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving environment

M-F 40hrs/week; flexible hours, including light after-hours support

$125K–$150K equity benefits package (lunch and dinner included)
