QuickBooks Specialists
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Monthly/quarterly close process including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Journal Entries
General ledger maintenance, analysis and reconciliation
Accounts Receivable Aging, Accounts Payable-Invoicing, Billing and Account reconciliation
Perform bank reconciliations and fixed assets maintenance
Administration of budgeting, cost accounting & financial analysis
Preparation of sales tax and property tax returns
General bookkeeping
Miscellaneous projects as and when required by management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major or equivalent
Strong PC skills including the entire Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
Must possess the ability to understand the business and apply knowledge to accounting transactions
Self starter with problem solving and process improvement skills a must
Ability to work in a fast paced environment where a daily "open items" list may change based upon the needs of management
