Job Overview:
Under the supervison of the Sr. BMET, performs: evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and treatment of patients at assigned UHS facilities.
General Responsibilities:
- Can perform preventive maintenance (PM) or operational verification procedure (OVP) on 95% of the device types in inventory.
- Can repair 95% of the device types in inventory unassisted.
Focuses performance to ensure the safest and best possible patient experience. Delivers exceptional service to all customers that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance.
Assists in developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships.
Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of technical school/Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred.
- Five to eight years of related experience minimum.
