We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care for our young patients. Duties
- Perform pediatric dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning tailored to children’s unique needs.
- Conduct dental procedures including restorations, extractions, pulp therapy, and space maintainers with precision and care.
- Utilize advanced dental technology and techniques such as medical imaging and aseptic procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate young patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and dietary habits to promote lifelong dental health.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure thorough medical records management.
- Collaborate with team members to implement infection control protocols and uphold the highest standards of safety and sterilization.
- Manage dental fabrication processes such as crowns or prosthodontics when necessary for comprehensive care.
- Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, endodontics, oral surgery, and root canal therapy relevant to pediatric cases.
- Ensure smooth clinic operations by adhering to all legal requirements including HIPAA compliance and medical documentation standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a pediatric dentistry setting or general dentistry practice with pediatric focus.
- Familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar electronic health record systems.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and pediatric-specific dental procedures.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, endodontic treatments, prosthodontics, and other advanced procedures in children.
- Prior experience in a clinical environment emphasizing patient care, assessment, and treatment planning for pediatrics.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to pediatric diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with young patients and their families while maintaining professionalism.
- Dental license valid in the practicing region with additional certifications in pediatric dentistry preferred but not required.
