Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Appraisal Coordinator / Loan Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services and mortgage industry. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications, compliance with regulatory standards, and accurate appraisal management. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes, contributing to efficient loan processing and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and process all appraisal orders and transfers with accuracy and prompt turnaround times.
- Arrange and monitor pest inspections, water quality testing, and fire inspections to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams to support seamless loan file processing.
- Handle, organize, and update all documentation related to Certificates of Eligibility.
- Deliver administrative and operational assistance to senior loan processors.
- Complete all responsibilities in alignment with company policies and established industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in mortgage operations—ideally with a concentration in appraisal coordination or processing—is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple files and deadlines at once.
- Proficient in mortgage-related software platforms (e.g., Loadasoft, Google Sheets, Outlook) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, enabling effective collaboration with appraisers, loan officers, and underwriters.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in managing documents, scheduling tasks, and performing data entry.
- Able to work independently while also partnering effectively with cross-departmental team members.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
