JOB DESCRIPTION
The emergency room technician (ERT) works under the direction of Registered Nurses or ED Clinicians to assist in the delivery of patient care within the emergency department (ED). The ERT performs fundamental patient care tasks, specific treatments, and procedures, maintains a clean and stocked environment of care, communicates patient care findings and performs duties as assigned by RNs or ED Clinicians.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have one of the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Equivalent work experience in lieu of HS diploma or equivalent may be considered
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- EMT certification on State of Minnesota Registry
- Equivalent Patient Care Experience
