Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology accurately.
• Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures with precision and care.
• Utilize dental imaging tools and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment environments.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office standards.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term dental wellness.
• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and related fields through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current certification to practice dentistry.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with excellent patient care skills.
• Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently.
