We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Duties

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency in food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
• Support the head chef and kitchen staff during meal service by preparing dishes efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and service.

Skills

• Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required; enthusiasm for food preparation is essential.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within a culinary environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus, especially in catering or meal preparation contexts.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
