Summary
We are seeking a talented Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team at Churchill's Bistro Cigar Bar. In this role, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout food preparation and service.
- Participate in menu planning, including creating new dishes that align with our bistro's theme.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Oversee meal preparation to ensure quality and consistency of dishes served.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
