Overview:
The primary duties of this position include supervision of all Behavior Health Technicians, responsible for maintenance of new and existing client profiles, staff scheduling, and administrative management. Including but not limited to, collection of demographic and payer information; financial information and eligibility determinations; benefits verification and authorization; payment processing and appointment scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations, update the EMR and provide appropriate administrative support to ensure an effective and efficient operation of all related services. In addition to working closely with the Director on all department needs and filling in as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from a college or university within area of position of responsibility and four (4) years of applicable experience.
- OR
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent with seven (7) years of directly applicable experience.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and organization.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, copiers and fax machines.
- Proficient with internet, spreadsheet, word processing, and scanned image software.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedures of the agency and assigned program division.
- Ability to assist in maintaining a therapeutic and safe environment.
- Currently have or ability to obtain certification in CPR, CPI and Medication observation/administration.
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
Compensation:
Salary range is $42,069 - $45,460 per year based on experience.
