Quality Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Develop timelines for quality related activities on new product launches and monitor progress
- Evaluate Scrap Reports, RMA’s, and Defect Trackers to initiate CAR’s proactively
- Evaluate root causes and develop formal CAR solutions with cross functional groups
- Customer communication regarding quality requirements, approvals, and issues
- Collaborate with customers on quality requirements, specifications, and approval requirements
- Schedule Quality resources efficiently and effectively to meet internal/external needs
- Develop, coach, and hold Quality staff accountable to performance and company policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience in machining, foundry, or injection molding
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements with minimal interruption of normal workflow
- Excellent time management skills, problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing documents such as prints, instruction manuals, process sheets, work instructions, and safety documents
- Enthusiastic, cooperative and positive behavior
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
