Engineering Supervisor
The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in the organizing, planning, and managing all functions and resources within the Engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Provide Sales with quoting information for rates, processes, and tooling
- Develop timelines for new product launches and monitor progress
- Evaluate Gross Margin Reports and develop engineering solutions for low margin product
- Evaluate Scrap Reports and develop engineering solutions for product above 8% scrap
- Evaluate root causes and develop engineering solutions for formal Corrective Actions
- Lead, manage, and support team of Engineers
- Collaborate with customers on product design and specifications
- Monitor, correct and improve Engineering productivity daily
- Schedule engineering resources efficiently and effectively to meet internal/external needs
- Develop, coach, and hold staff accountable to performance and company policies as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 years management experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years engineering experience in machining, foundry, or plastic injection molding
- Excellent time management skills, problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing documents such as prints, instruction manuals, process sheets, work instructions, and safety documents
- Enthusiastic, cooperative and positive behavior
Salary : $120,000 - $145,000
