Admissions Assistant
Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Admissions Assistant to support the admissions process for our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth transition for residents and providing guidance to families during the admission process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Admissions Manager with all aspects of resident admissions
- Review admission agreements and educate residents and families on facility policies
- Conduct tours for prospective residents and their families
- Ensure vacant rooms are prepared and ready for new admissions
- Verify payor sources and required documentation
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Weekend on‑call required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare admissions, long‑term care, or skilled nursing facilities
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment
