Summary: Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of laminate, wood, plywood, and wallboard, by performing the following duties.

- Studies blueprints or sketches, for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
- Assists Engineering as needed to insure designs that can be manufactured efficiently.
- Prepares layout.
- Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
- Shapes materials to prescribed measurements.
- Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
- Program and run CNC Wood Router.
- Set up and run edgebander
- Edgeband complex laminate designs by hand.
- Lay up laminate and veneer on 4x8 and 5x8 sheets of substrate.
- Slot and T-mold panels.
- General knowledge of wood working tools such as table saw, trim router, pocket screw boring machine etc.
