Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details while ensuring data security.
- Assist with guest services by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared according to guest preferences and standards.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during unforeseen incidents or emergencies.
- Support night audit activities, reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports for management review.
- Use multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests, enhancing overall guest relations and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel management or hospitality roles is preferred, especially within resort or hotel environments.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication abilities, including phone communication and multi-line phone system operation.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices is a plus.
- Experience with night audit processes and resort operations is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
