Seasonal Forklift Driver
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for shipping and receiving products in the warehouse accurately and efficiently. This position will run from appproximately 7/1/25 thru 12/1/25.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Keep the palletizers supplied with pallets, hoods, and slip sheets.
* Move brite from palletizers when tagged/completed to correct location.
* Keep the depalletizers adequately supplied with cans.
* Remove dunnage from Depalletizers and place in designated area.
* Ability to perform other warehouse duties as necessary (palletizer, ticket writer)
* Keep dock area clean and organized.
* Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner.
* Follow all GMPs and Safety procedures.
* Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
* Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
* May perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Knowledge:
* Must be able to pass the Lakeside Foods Forklift Driver Training.
* Learn and follow the approved safe practices and procedures which apply to position.
* Become familiar with, observe and follow all Lakeside Foods' rules and established policies for Safety, Health and Security.
** Must be able to put product away in straight rows as well as stack product straight.
Language Skill:
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
* Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skill:
* Ability to add and subtract.
