In this vital role, you will serve as the central bridge between inventory, production, and quality control. You’ll ensure that every single job is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest aesthetic standards. Job Responsibilities:
- Master the Workflow: Coordinate and schedule the daily production flow; proactively Setting up, operating, and maintaining laminating machinery
- Precision Job Prep: Pull, verify, and file supplies throughout the shift, ensuring the absolute correct die is matched to every job specification.
- Bridge the Communication Gap: Collaborate closely with internal and external department supervisors to streamline production schedules and uphold rigid quality standards.
- Maintain Material Control: Oversee general department upkeep, including the secure destruction and proper disposal of obsolete materials.
- Champion Safety: Adhere to and actively promote all company safety policies, hazard protocols, and compliance procedures.
- Support the Team: Maintain a flexible, "team-first" attitude by tackling other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Expert Color Vision: Exceptional ability to differentiate, match, and verify colors for high-end, intricate foil jobs.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Inherently mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills. Technical training with a printing concentration is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office for tracking and inventory.
- Sharp Focus: A high level of attention to detail with the ability to flawlessly interpret and execute complex written instructions.
- Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work seamlessly in a fast-paced, team-driven manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift, lift and carry up to 65 lbs, and safely climb ladders up to 15 feet.
- Environment: Comfortable working in an active industrial plant environment that may fluctuate in temperature (hot/cold), humidity, and dust levels.
- Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in foil stamping and embossing is highly preferred
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
