Our client is seeking a dynamic Instructional Designer to create engaging, high-impact learning experiences that support employee development and drive business performance. This role will play a key part in designing onboarding programs, continuous education initiatives, and leadership development solutions across a fast-paced, service-driven organization.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative, mobile-first learning solutions aligned with strategic business goals and a strong people-first culture.
Pay: $31.26-$36/hr
Job Type: Long-term contractor (W-2 employee)
Location: Englewood, CO, in-office 3 days/week
- Design and deliver impactful training programs including onboarding, role-based enablement, soft skills, compliance, and performance coaching
- Develop engaging digital learning using microlearning, video, gamification, and mobile-first strategies
- Partner with subject matter experts to build role-specific learning tied to business outcomes
- Create tools to support career growth, internal mobility, coaching, and mentorship programs
- Support organizational change through learning communications, toolkits, and workshops
- Manage and maintain LMS content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and strong user experience
- Track learner engagement and performance data; recommend improvements based on insights
- Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and business impact metrics
- Stay current on instructional design trends and emerging technologies
- 3 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and performance-based learning strategies
- Proven ability to design engaging, mobile-first learning experiences across multiple modalities
- Experience conducting needs assessments and identifying skill gaps
- Strong project management skills, including managing scope, stakeholders, and deliverables
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, or Camtasia
- Experience with LMS platforms (Opus a plus)
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Miro, Asana, or Smartsheet
- Experience using or exploring generative AI and learning analytics tools preferred
- Experience in service-driven industries such as fitness, retail, or hospitality

- Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday & Friday
- Work will take place in both office and fitness facility settings
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
