Pay: $22–$25/hour, based on experience and skill level
Job Summary
Lakeshore Painting is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our growing team. We specialize in both residential and commercial painting, and we’re proud to offer great value, high-quality service, and a supportive team environment.
This is a mobile field position, so candidates must be comfortable traveling to various job sites throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces (e.g., cleaning, sanding, patching) prior to painting.
- Apply paint, stains, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Mix and match colors to achieve specified shades and finishes.
- Follow work orders, blueprints, or verbal instructions to meet client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Use and maintain painting tools and equipment, including power tools.
- Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures.
- Occasionally assist with drywall patching or surface prep during remodeling projects.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial).
- Familiarity with common painting techniques, tools, and surface preparation.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Basic knowledge of drywall repair or masonry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work ethic.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license to travel between job sites.
