Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- operating equipment such as skidsteer, excavator, backhoe, barge, boat ect.....
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components
- Carry out foundational tasks including building docks, boat lifts, stairs, and retaining walls
- Support team members in lifting, moving, and securing materials to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Assist with site cleanup and organization at the end of each day to keep the workspace tidy and hazard-free
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods while maintaining safety standards
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills on the job
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and procedures is a plus
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
