Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Experienced Painter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. The position involves preparing surfaces, applying finishes, completing touch-ups, and ensuring a clean and professional job site.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing cracks or holes
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths, tape, and other materials
- Mix and match paints to achieve accurate color and consistency
- Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and project specifications
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors
- Complete final touch-ups and minor repairs after project completion
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional painting experience (training available for the right candidate)
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and finishes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with power tools, ladders, and scaffolding
- Physically capable of lifting up to [X lbs] and performing manual labor
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)
- OSHA certification or safety training is a plus
Work Environment
- Work performed in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals (appropriate PPE provided)
- May involve working at heights or in confined spaces

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
