What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician position at Lakes Regional Community Center?
The Registered Behavior Therapist will work closely with the Clinical Director, BCBA and other licensed clinicians to ensure interventions and training sessions are based on assessment results and other evidence-based research. This position will maintain an active specialized training and supported employment caseload, facilitate assessments, develop result summaries and strategies. Responsibilities involve frequent contact with individuals, including individuals with private insurance providers, family members, and service providers. Will provide parent and caregiver training on ways to assist individuals and how to decrease skills that restrict the individual's full participation in their nature community. This individual will have some knowledge of basic private insurance billing and documentation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, plus valid Texas certification as a Registered Behavior Technician with at least one year work experience as a RBT. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have a valid Texas driver's license, acceptable driving record and personal automobile liability insurance as required by Texas.
Work Hours: Mon-Friday (8-5pm), with some flex shifts, when needed.
Salary: $20.50/hourly
