Position Summary: The Project Lead Rural Health Transformation and CCBHC advances the Lakes Region Mental Health Center mission through the role of project lead to track all activities in Rural Health Transformation (RHT) work plan. Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) project specific is to provide Lakes Regin Mental Health Center (LRMHC) with the strategic and operational leadership required for the implementation, certification and sustainability of CCBHC, and account for all funds required and drawn down from the grant, including oversight of EHR and workforce.

Reports directly to the Director of Quality and Compliance, the RHT/CCBHC Project Lead collaborates across departments and with external stakeholders to support organizational readiness, monitor implementation progress, facilitate communication, and ensure compliance with all CCBHC standards. This role is instrumental in advancing LRMHC’s strategic transformation efforts and expanding access to high-quality, integrated behavioral health services throughout the region.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

1. Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all CCBHC related activities, ensuring alignment with the Governor’s Office of New Opportunities & Rural Transformational Health (GO-NORTH) and SAMSHA CCBHC certification requirements.

2. Direct the CCBHC application process, including preparation, coordination, and submission to New Hampshire DHHS.

3. Monitor CCBHC data collection, provide technical assistance and track related activities.

4. Track action items, monitor progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

5. Support organizational change management efforts associated with RHT activities.

6. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required reports.

7. Maintain on going communication with state and federal partners, in conjunction with QI.

8. Coordinate and facilitate internal and external stakeholder meetings, training, and education related to the CCBHC model.

9. Collaborate with external consultants, hired or involved with RHT activities.

10. Partner with senior leadership to align CCBHC implementation with organizational strategy and address operational barriers.

11. Chair internal CCBHC committees, monitor project timelines, and track deliverables to ensure milestones are met.

12. Assist with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, workflows, and documentation required for certification and ongoing compliance.

13. Participate in national learning collaboratives and CCBHC-focused cohorts to advance best practices and service delivery.

14. Foster cross- functional collaboration to support integration of services and adherence to RHT workplan.

Required Skills/Abilities:

The individual must possess the knowledge, skills and ability noted below or be able to explain and demonstrate how the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some combination of skills and abilities.

1. Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.

2. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

3. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

4. Ability to lead initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

5. Possess knowledge of change management concepts.

6. Experience with CCBHC implementation or certification, preferred.

7. Familiarity with SAMSHA funded programs and or state regulatory requirements.

8. Experience in contract funded program management.

9. Demonstrated leadership experience within a health care setting.

10. Knowledge of behavioral health systems, quality improvement methodologies (CQI), data analysis and program evaluation.

11. Experience with budget oversight and financial tracking.

Education and Experience:

1. Master’s degree in behavioral health, public health, or healthcare administration, project management training/certification preferred.

2. Equivalent experience managing federal or state-wide contracts and or grants may be considered.

3. Must have and maintain a valid NH driver’s license with current liability insurance which meets Lakes Region Mental Health Center requirements.

Physical Requirements:

1. Able to sustain light physical effort such as frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping or reaching and/or occasional lifting of items 20 lbs. or more.

2. Able to tolerate periods of heavy workload or excessive stress.

3. Ability to walk, climb, and use stairs on a regular basis and in unknown circumstances.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
