This is a full-time, 36 hour/week position. The shifts of this position are either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
Lakes Region Mental Health Center is looking for a full-time Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team. The Clinician works with a team of professionals — including first responders, healthcare providers, and community-based agencies — to stabilize a psychiatric crisis, avoid hospitalization and/or incarceration, and initiate immediate community-based treatment. The Clinician performs evaluations in homes, hospitals, community and mobile-based milieus. The Clinician applies differential diagnostic skills, provides telephone triage, mental status assessments, collateral contacts with family supports, extended evaluations, resource screenings, referrals for psychiatric consults, and assessments for appropriate disposition.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related discipline is required. Availability for night, weekend, and non-traditional hours required. A valid driver's license, personal vehicle and auto insurance is required.
