Description
Lakes Region Community Services, a non profit social services agency, is currently hiring for full time and part time overnight Direct Support Professionals (11pm-7 am) in Laconia and Plymouth. As a Direct Support Professional, you provide support to individuals who have developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain disorders. No experience is needed. On the job training is provided!
Responsibilities include
- Create and/or adhere to schedules designed for individuals
- Know and adhere to wheelchair and other medical equipment safety guidelines
- Ensure the health and safety of all individuals we support including medical, nutritional and hygiene needs
- Assist in ensuring all paperwork is complete, such as monthly progress notes, attendance logs, and vehicle documentation
- Meal prep
- Housekeeping
- Assisting individuals to safely and efficiently evacuate their home during fire drills and in case of an emergency

Salary range for a Direct Support Professional ranges from $17.50- $20.00 depending on education and experience.
Requirements
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
Valid NH Drivers' license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required. Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks also required. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
