Participates in a planned research project by performing research protocols. Works independently and self-directed while providing supervision and technical training to subordinates. Needs a specialized education in the biological sciences and is required to consistently exercise discretion and judgment in execution, interpretation of research, and of data derived.

- Plans and develops specific research protocols and procedures.
- Develops & troubleshooting new techniques and ideas.
- Composes processes and sets-up protocols accurately under the direction of investigator, modifies processes and protocols when required.
- Formulates and performs research procedures, which may involve moderate-level analyses and reports of the data.
- Presents & discusses work at meetings.
- Maintains any equipment, safety procedures and compliance records for research studies.
- Researches journal, white papers and other scientific publications for pertinent information.
- Assist in preparation of data for publication or presentation at national/international symposia. Supervises junior members of team.

Experience Preferred:
- CNA, Phlebotomy, nursing student, med student, etc.
Certifications Essential:
- Obtain CITI Good Clinic Practice (GCP) training certification through the onboarding process within the first three months of employment.
